General
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are necessary for the operation of the site. Additional cookies are only set with your consent. You can decline cookies in your browser settings, which may limit the functionality of the site. Further details can be found in our cookie policy.
Server log files
We do not collect or store information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us.
SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in the browser bar.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to evaluate visitor statistics (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent given via the cookie banner). Loaded via Google Tag Manager. IP addresses are anonymised within the EU/EEA before they are stored. Users can deactivate or withdraw tracking via the cookie settings.
Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)
This website uses the Meta Pixel (Pixel ID: 643863442931003) operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). The pixel is loaded only after explicit consent via the cookie banner (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Loaded via Google Tag Manager. It enables conversion tracking and the display of targeted advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Data processing may involve a transfer to the United States. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie banner. More information: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Data transfer to the USA (third country)
When using Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, personal data may be transferred to Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States. Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). By decision of 10 July 2023, the European Commission determined that this framework provides an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR); the transfer therefore takes place on the basis of this adequacy decision.
In addition, we base the transfer on your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR, given via the cookie banner. Please note: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework is subject to judicial review; a level of data protection equivalent to EU law in every respect – in particular regarding access by US authorities – cannot be guaranteed in every case.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings.
Purpose of data processing
The analysis of user data serves to improve website functionality and the user experience. IP anonymisation ensures the balance between analysis and data protection in accordance with Art. 6 GDPR.
